President and Chief Investment Officer

Michael has thirty years of experience in Finance.  After graduating from Rutgers University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), he accepted a position with Price Waterhouse and earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.  Michael has also worked for several banks and securities firms (Citigroup, Merrill Lynch and UBS), traded equity derivatives, and marketed mutual funds and hedge funds.  After discovering his skills and strengths fit perfectly with financial planning and investment management, he then completed the rigorous steps necessary to become a Certified Financial Planner.

Outside the office, Michael has two passions: art and his family.  A trained fine artist, he is curator of his town's public art project.  His wife Isabella, is an interior designer.  They are the proud parents of two young adults who have been raised, like their parents, to value honesty, beauty and travel.

Joanne Ammann graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bloomfield College with a B.A. in Accounting and Economics.  Before she started working with Investment Strategy Advisors she worked for Tenneco Oil Company for 30 years dealing in barge and pipeline sales of gasoline and fuel oil.   In addition to her responsibilities at Investment Strategy Advisors she runs a used book business online and also has a Scrapbooking for hire business.  

Reading, Scrapping, Piano and animals continue to be of keen interest.
